Affirmations is a wonderful healing tool that you can use to reprogram yourself in a positive sense. With affirmations you can remove negative thinking patterns that holds you back and which might make you sick. Affirmations is widely used in sports to improve physical performance.
Most of us suffer from that the brain is never silent. It is unbelievable many thoughts which passes through our heads every day. The appearing thoughts tells you how you should look at yourself, they pull up past experiences, gives you warnings, etc. Most of this is of no use, nor do they do you good because they have a negative approach and reinforces your negative feelings (- read also about positive thoughts). If you feel tired one day, and you walk around telling this to others, you will reinforce your negative feeling. However, if you say to others and to yourself that you feel fantastic, then you will automatically feel better.
Affirmations are statements that you repeat over and over again to yourself. This will program you to think the way you want. The more times you say the affirmation to yourself, the better effect you will get.
